On September 17th St. Paul’s will once again be hosting a “Welcome Dinner” for students, boarding parents and staff with our partner KOSSS (Keewaytinook Okimakanak Student Support Services). For the first time the dinner will be held at Camp Duncan – students arriving around 3pm, a scavenger hunt, an early beef on a bun supper around 4:30pm, followed by informal time around a campfire with more food and marshmallows. Traditional Red Rose tea in a pot over the fire and canned Carnation milk will be available throughout. We invite you to join in this fun time of sharing food and learning with our partners. To offer help in providing salads, veggie trays, and pies, please contact Brenda Reimer or Nancy Post.

THANKSGIVING TURKEY DINNER   ™   –

Each year people gather for a meal to celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family. This fall you are invited to join your church family and friends as we gather in the spirit of Thanksgiving to celebrate a traditional meal. The dinner will be held on Sunday, October 1st, and will be served in a “come and go” style, starting at 4:30 pm and the last meal is served at 6:30 pm.

Tickets will be available soon from the Church Office. The price is $15 for the main course and, should you still have room, pie is an additional $4.95. Bring your family, friends and neighbours but get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

David Everitt is back cooking and will be needing help with this dinner so if you can help out please call him at 807.628.5287 (leave a message) or email him at deveritt@tbaytel.net. Watch the church weekly emails for other ways to help out with the dinner if you cannot work in the kitchen.
